I had one of the worst experiences here, when I visited on 2024-10-06.

I visited the store to get full payment done using my Golden Harvest accumulated money, for an earlier purchase which my mother and sister had bought about 15 days ago.

I was in Singapore at that time, and the Senior Cashier, Mr Chandan M, had talked in a rude tone to my Mother. She told me not to worry about the OTP and other stuff, since he had told her that the payment wouldn't be completed unless I was there (I got to know that my presence is not a requirement for the payment to go through, from another source.)

Additionally, I had linked my Golden Harvest Account with my mother's GH Account, so that they can easily debit the money from my account, without my intervention. I had also written a letter while I was in Singapore, giving the Authorisation for my mother to encash the accrued amount in my GH Account. Due to OTP issue, it was not possible, since I didn't have my Indian number active there.

Anyways, we went again on 2024-10-06, to finish the balance payment and get the delivery of the Jewellery that we had bought. The same pattern continued on this day as well. He was very rude and he gave a very negative energy. I didn't tell anything initially, but told the person who was assisting us, about this incident. We were made to wait for almost an hour, without telling what exactly was the course of action being taken. The person assisting us kept saying it was some backend server issue.

Overall, the whole experience was marred by this Cashier's intolerable attitude towards Customers and I noticed his similar behaviour towards other customers as well.

I am extremely disappointed to see a great brand like Tanishq hiring such staff especially at the front-desk, where the customer is supposed to leave with a good impression to return back again.

In any case, I will refrain from going to this outlet again, although it is very close to our home.

I am taking the trouble to write this review because we have had a harrowing experience at this Tanishq store. I am writing it in the hope that some improvements in the management and operations will result from detailing our experience. We had gone to this store to order a bangle which is a Tanishq design and I also had a photo of the bangle from my friend who has that same bangle. We wanted them to reproduce the exact same bangle. Firstly just to place an order for that bangle we had to visit the store many times and we were just kept waiting on each visit owing to their inefficiency and lack of effort. Finally after we managed to place the order and when the bangle finally was ready it was already 2 weeks over the delivery date. However what was most frustrating was that they had not been able to make it as per the design given. And this inspite of the fact they were given a photo of the bangle that was purchased from a Tanishq store. Throughout this whole process we were shocked by total ineffectiveness of the store manager, Mr. Tejas Gowda. His communication is so bad that despite trying our hardest we just could not understand what he was trying to say. The whole experience was so disappointing and frustrating that we will not return to a Tanishq store any time soon. We have subsequently had the bangle made without any problem from another jewellery store...
