Ambience is average with poor lightening. Food preparation was pathetic & utterly disappointing despite of boasting heavy build ups by the owner itself. The menu is overpriced & overhyped without any special traits. The chef or cook prepared dishes in such an immature expertise that Mutton Seekh Kabab tasted like Veg Falafel, Hara bhara Kabab or Gujarati Nashto dish Handvo as no minced meat was added into the mixture even the second time after complaining to replace first serving with another portion. Not a single recommended Non Veg item matched up to the expectations from starters to the main course. The food dishes pictures posted in reviews are specially curated just to increase footfall of Non Veg food lovers whereas the actual reality of Non Veg dishes are pathetic, even a road side Dhaba Non Veg food tastes better than this under much lesser price segment.The total bill amount charged was around INR 4K for a family of 2 Parents with a kid. On the contrary, we could have enjoyed a buffet gala dinner to make our V-Day more special in a renowned 4-5 star hotel with much better service along with multi cuisine tasteful delicacies in same price point. Felt like cheating after paying such a high price for such low sub standard food preparation but absorbed the dissatisfaction since we didn't want to spoil our special day. The positive reviews posted on Google, Zomato & other food rating websites are purely biased, actually shared by the owner's friends, relatives & PR members just to grab eyeballs as a marketing strategy. Suggest not to pay a hefty bill amount for such low sub standard food preparation & a so so kinda ambience with very poor lightening during the night. Overall it was an awful experience. Strongly not recommended to visit under worst case scenario as well if it's the only last food joint remains open...

I had heard a lot about Urban Banjara, when it was located near godhavi. Finally got to visit sindhu bhavan road restaurant. Place has both open and AC dine in options. Its very spacious. AC option has seperate domes. Ample of parking, easily available. Owners are very kind, cooperative and gentleman. Also the staff was so soft spoken and helpful. We ordered:-

1. Cream of chicken soup with mushrooms, it was one of the best i have ever had in Ahmedabad. Far better than most 5 Star Hotels. It was rich, creamy full of flavours. Perfectly balanced and rounded off.

2. Tandoori Chicken, very well marinated and charred to perfection.

3)Butter Chicken, perheps one the best butter chicken i have ever had beyond any doubt. No artificial colours. Very well made, the way it should be. Grilled chicken shreds. It was so flavourful yet subtle in taste. Dont miss out on their butter chicken. It was heavenly. After trying hundreds of restaurants, i liked butter chicken from mirch masala, this was beyond that.

4. Chapati roti and chur chur naan, both where great. Best part is they serve chapati roti which is rarely served in restaurants.

I can undoubtedly say that you can order anything from menu and you wont go wrong. Will highly recommend and explore more from their menu.
