Theka Coffee — Restaurant in Gujarat

After hot discussion on social media, I visited Theka with my coffee lover cousin just to double sure whether this place is worth it or not.

I am certainly disappointed.

First of all, this place is not at all which is shown in pictures anymore, it may have been earlier. So half of the charm and excitement is already died the moment you reach there.

You can totally skip this place. We ordered, next level and jawani to experience entry level and top selling product altogether.

My cousin was literally like ‘Coffee me paani hey ya paani me coffee hey’?

We didn’t like it and felt dissatisfied about the money being charged and he product we served.

I want to make some points very clear:

I was told they never reuse any bottle once opened. I got a bottle which was literally re-used. Sticker was half scratched and torn.

Review should not be based on ambience, hospitality or staff etiquette’s only. Does it even make sense to go to a place where you get world class hospitality but you get average food?

For me food quality should be the top notch priority before ambience.

Seating arrangement is okay. Shed isn’t constructed as to avoid any demolition from authority. Next to it, a building is being constructed. So yes it is dusty. Except music nothing is happening here.

Chances are, this place may have gained popularity in short time but won’t last long.

Theka-the most old and popular place for foodies and hangout lovers.

It is a open roof place. Though closed roof seating is also available here.

These place attracts only TEENAGERS and ADULTS, so highly unrecommended to bring your kids here.

They have many games available here like ludo, table tennis, chess and so on. They have stadium kinda seating available and a big projector to showcase someive performance or so. Also, they have very less seatings tables available out there.

The one who created this place wont have any idea that this place would attracts soooo much crowd that even 10 tables would count less. Though they have all the capacity to serve their hunger.

The Food being served here is prettty normal and good not so hype. I always like to have coffee with maggie here. The most commonly sold products.

Ambience is 11 on 10.😍😁 The Food served is 4.5 on 10. Coffee ratings (as in its the only hyped product here) 7 on 10. Service 10 on 10. Parking 3 on 10. Restrooms 2 on 10. Seating arrangements 7 on 10. Value for money 5 on 10.

Must visit this place once.

If I talk about the ambience then it is good. Somehow I was not comfortable when I saw mud all around the cafe in heavy rain time. It is in outskirts of Ahmedabad and sophisticated people were there. Coffee was good but the other outlets were taking very much time specially the Chicken vendor. And even the quality was pathetic. Don't go for chicken Tikka bcz it was all burned.
