I went to watch a movie at the Inox cinema Janakplace today and I was very disappointed. They charged me extra for the tickets, saying that the amount increases when the hall is 40% filled due to the surge. I checked the ticket online and it showed 240 rupees and the employee was asking us 310 (we were 5 people so the total came out to be 1545). As we were already late for the movie, we just paid the amount. Then he booked our tickets and gave us the microwave popcorn sachets and told us to hurry as the movie already started. But when I entered the hall, I received the message that the popcorn was not complimentary and we actually paid 345 for them. We were shocked and thought there might be some confusion from their side. So after the movie, we went back and told the guy our concern. But the employee was very rude, he stated that there is a compulsion to buy the popcorn and it comes with the ticket, but we received 2 separate bills for the same and he started denying it, saying he couldn’t do anything about it. I felt cheated and angry. So, we called the help center and talked them through the issue, and it turned out there was no scheme like that. Eventually, we got our money back but this was so absurd, fooling and scamming people. I do not recommend this cinema to anyone. It is a waste of money and time. Never thought I would experience this from a well-known INOX(PVR) I would like, the concerned authorities to look into this matter. Looking forward for...

It used to be my favourite cinema because of its location. But I have not been able to go here from around 6. Months, I was very excited to go today for some movie time. Everything was going amazingly, I was feeling nostalgic too but then I went to the ticket counter to purchase ticket. They said that it was 330 rs while online was showing 230 rs. There excuse was that we have changed the price and it will take some time to reflect on the app. I waited for 30 minutes. No change happened. And I asked some people and they said they were booking online because the ticket counter was asking high price. And they were getting it for 230 rs + taxes. So how are they getting it at 230 online, no cinema will work at loss that real price is 330 and online price 230. So according to them while the price is not changing on online apps, they are fine with 100 rs loss. This place is a scam. I went home and discussed it with my friend he said that he has long before stopped going there due to the same reason. And I will also do it from now. I know these people won't care whether I go or not. But it's sad that one of my favourite places have gone to shit because of some corrupted people.
