Here’s my detailed review of Five Elements by Sandoz, Janakpuri – overall a 3-star outing.

Ambiance & Facilities :

Five Elements by Sandoz boasts an inviting open terrace on the top floor, ideal for casual get-togethers or date nights. However, during my visit, the cooling setup fell short: with only a couple of pedestal fans running, the terrace felt warm and uncomfortable after sunset. If you plan to dine here in warmer months, be prepared for limited airflow. Also, note that valet parking is not available, and the on-site parking area can get crowded during peak hours.

Service & Accessibility:

Service at Five Elements by Sandoz was noticeably slow and inattentive. Our server took multiple reminders to serve water bottles , beverages and bring starters. Seniors in our party struggled with poor lift service—several had to walk down the stairs due to repeated elevator stalls. For diners with mobility issues or elderly guests, this is an important consideration.

Drinks & Beverages The beverage menu is disappointingly narrow, with only a handful of soft drinks, mocktails, and bottled juices. If you’re a connoisseur looking for variety—be it fresh fruit blends or craft mocktails—you may find the options lacking.

Starters & Snacks • Fish Fingers: Decent crispiness and seasoning, though not exceptional. • Other Starters: Generally under-seasoned and bland.

Main Courses • Butter Chicken: Creamy and comforting, but only average in richness. • Chicken Kadhai: Well-marinated chicken pieces in a tangy, medium-spiced gravy—definitely a highlight. • Paneer Dish: Stole the show! Soft, flavorful paneer cubes cooked to perfection—by far the best item on the menu. • Dal Makhni: Smooth, buttery lentils with a homely taste—solid and satisfying.

Desserts • Gulab Jamun: Soft, syrupy, and just the right sweetness—very good. • Moong Dal Ka Halwa: Rich, melt-in-the-mouth texture with a lovely cardamom aroma—another standout.

Pros & Cons • Pros: • Cozy rooftop vibe • Paneer specialty and Indian mains • Excellent traditional desserts • Cons: • No valet parking • Insufficient cooling on terrace • Limited drink selection • Slow service and unreliable lift

Verdict Five Elements by Sandoz in Janakpuri offers some tasty Indian mains and desserts in a pleasant rooftop setting, but is let down by service, facilities, and beverage variety. I’d recommend it for a casual meal with friends—just temper...

I organized a Birthday party here on 2nd floor on 18.10.2024 at five elements, and it was a worst decision of my life. Overall very disappointing experience from start to finish. The lack of professionalism was glaring; from manager Mr. Sahib Singh to floor manager and other staff members seemed untrained, helpless and doing things according to their own whims leading to utter chaos throughout the event and huge embarrassment to me and my family.

Promises made during the booking process were quickly forgotten. For instance, we were assured of a specific room to cater the needs of baby like breast feeding, diaper change etc. But when need arised we left shell shocked as their was no room for us and my wife has to breast fed my daughter in the hall itself leading to her embarrassment and frustration to family members and when we counter them on this their floor manager was giving vague excuses and Mr. Sahib Singh manager had already left the venue by that time.

Furthermore, there were numerous shady practices that raised red flags. Extra charges appeared on the bill that had never been discussed, and when I inquired, the staff provided vague answers, showing a clear lack of business ethics like you have to take theme organizer from them only or else shell out extra money, also they promised that bring ur USB drive and we'll play the pictures and video on LED but when I gave them the USB to play they asked extra 4000 rs from me on the spot.

The service was abysmal; waiter staff were inattentive, slow movers, often ignoring requests and taking far too long to respond.

To make matters worse, they have not decorated the cake table which was promised by them which I think is the centre of attraction in any Birthday celebration.

So in short the overall atmosphere felt uninviting, as if the Sandoz was more interested in profit than guest satisfaction. It was evident that customer care was not a priority. This experience was a far cry from what was promised, and I would certainly and definitely advice and caution anyone considering Five Elements by Sandoz for their event, to go to other place and Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for a more...

I booked this place for my Dad’a retirement party and that day I was too busy in greeting my guest, was not totally happy with the decoration part but thought my guests were being well served. But got so embarrassed when my relatives and friends complained about few stuffs. Talking about drinks, the guy who were making drinks, he was using his bare hands to take out the ice, very very unhygienic. Fortunately one of my family member is expertise in cocktails and came to know that bar guy was not following the right method and not putting the right ingredients which can actually make people catch cold and cough. ( which we got) Then, one of the couch get torn from one corner and that too my guest noticed. The tables near the sofas had not been cleaned properly, it was so sticky. Food part is good though but 90% our guest was non-vegetarian, in that too for chicken snacks , we noticed they were servicing all the chicken leg piece to the upper floor party and our guest was not happy at all. This party was a gift to my dad on his retirement but he was unsatisfied too with all this.

When we booked this place, the manager told us there will be no disappointment from their end and they will give 10% back if any discrepancy will happen. The next day I called them and mentioned all these but couldn’t meet them because we were out for long vacation. However, despite they know all this I haven’t heard back for one single time. I am not gonna recommend this place at all if you guys are planning to organize a good function. If you are going spend your good hard earned money please choose a better venue or place who will leave your guests happy at the end. I booked this place quite in hurry because of shortage of time and I...

Sandoz is well brand for Premium Dining but it really disappointed me when I visited here today. I came here to attend a function directly from office and went directly to washroom followed by dining hall and then dinner. Following are the list ob observations that shows the cost cutting is going on internally and quality has big time compromised. 1. Toilet: Taps are broken, Urinal Pots has no supply of water, washbasin sink are chipped and broken, soap dispensers are lose and not having lids, Paper tissues are just thrown, drain is full of debris and floor is slippery by using probably same mop in Kitchen Area and washroom or may be mop is too old. 2. Dinner Experience: Salad - Cucumbers are bitter, Gulab Jamun are not fresh 200%, Ice Cream Desserts served are of very poor quality and it's unknown brand, Rice are not upto the mark, Dinner Crockery are chipped and have too many scratches, look way old. Overall food quality is just Okay Okay not very delicious. Better food is available in market at Restaurant and even at local shops too. 3. Bar Counter: Syrups and Flavours used for making beverages being served are of the most inferior quality (don't want to name the brand but locally from Tagore Garden, New Delhi), Quality is compromised there too. The staff is holding glasses putting their fingers inside the glasses. Never going to book any function here and I would suggest if you are planning any of your event, there are better place available in the market and they are serving better ambience and food at better price what they have charged us. Strongly not recommended. Rest choice is yours if you want to take chance.
