I completed a 14-day residential program at Dr. Hari’s Prakruthi Life Ayurveda Wellness Center in Cherai, Kerala, and it was truly transformative. The program included a variety of treatments such as oil massage, Nasyam, Shirodhara, and Dhanyamala Dhara, all of which were incredibly rejuvenating.

The benefits of the treatments were remarkable. I felt totally rejuvenated and cleansed. My body pains disappeared, my mind felt light, and I experienced great sleep quality. I have struggled with IBS and Ulcerative Colitis, but during my stay, my bowel issues became a lot better and calmer.

Typical treatment time is around 2 hours in the morning and less than 1 hour in the evening. Another highlight is that this is not a one-size-fits-all type of wellness treatment. Dr. Hari assesses health conditions and progress, customizing and reviewing the program throughout.

Dr. Hari is a calm and knowledgeable person with specialization in Ayurveda, Nadi treatment and Yoga. His expertise and gentle demeanor made the entire experience even more enriching.

A special mention to my therapist, Arun, who did a fabulous job with the treatments. Nimesh, the manager, and the rest of the staff were wonderful and made sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable.

The stay was in a beautiful beachside villa, just 500 meters from the treatment center. The serene location, combined with the sound of the waves, created a perfect environment for relaxation and healing. The in-house food was delicious and tailored to complement the treatments. We loved the morning walks on the beachside and the evening barefoot walks on the clean Cherai beach. These moments added to the overall tranquility and healing experience.

While we took time off from work for the program, it can be customized for working professionals who can afford to work from home. Although the duration is flexible, I understood that 14 days is recommended. Repeating this once every year should help maintain good health in our busy world.

I would like to say a resounding thank you to JoJo and the team at Prakruthi Ayurveda Spa And Treatment Centre Cherai Beach Kerala. Ive travelled to the epicentre of Ayurvedic treatment, and this practise in particular on the recommendation of friends to address several health issues.

Im humbled by the knowledge both the doctor and JoJo have of the human body, it’s mechanics digestion and elimination process. They have given me new respect for my own body and passed on wisdom as to how better support it. I’m also amazed at the bodies ability to heal itself give the correct support and attention in just two weeks.

During the fortnight I was there I received a medical assessment, a customised package which included both herb remedies to ingest as well as daily herbal massages , various scrubs and stream. Sulekha and Sathi provided attentive support.

JoJo also successfully addressed some back and hip issues with deep tissue massage and lineaments and general went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction at the spa and enjoyment of the region.
