For the longest time I’ve been looking for a place that serves authentic Gaz - a candy that my mother loved growing up. After a long and hard search, I finally found Iranian Sweets Palace that served authentic Gaz. As soon as I found out, I called up Mr. Hajati to check the availability of stock but unfortunately because of COVID it wasn’t available then. I had told him to let me know when the stocks would be available and to my surprise, Mr. Hajati promptly reached out as soon as fresh stock was available. He ensured that I not only received the Gaz the same day I ordered it but also reached out to check if I received the package after delivery. The Gaz had a beautiful texture and took my mom back to her childhood when she would have this candy. The only good thing about this place is quality products. That is the reason I buy though it’s enormously expensive. But my last two consignments was delivered very badly. Very strange that I got walnut powder. Anyone heard of this. Also, every item got mixed up and looks like a beggar’s plate. When I asked him, the answer was that that was not his fault and as a customer i have to ask the courier guy. First of all his packing itself was very bad which he doesn’t agree. I've been looking for Gaz for a few years and couldn't get the proper taste like the one that came from Iran.

I had a chat with the owner about my requirements and prices and the order got delivered to me in 3 days, so great buying experience.

Now for the taste of Baklava, it is sweet but in a good way, you are never overwhelmed by the sweetness and it was really fresh (because it is March) and we all loved it.

Baklava is mainly for my family and Gaz is for me as they are vegetarian.
