Pantai Indah Ancol — Local services in Jakarta

What a quick and smooth entry to Ancol! I ordered the tickets online and had no problems.

As far as the beach itself, they make lots of improvement. They add more white sands, space for family picnics, showers, and food vendors. Occasionally, I find living sea creatures like small crabs, fish that kids can explore.  There are not any waves, so small children can play in the water. Afterwards, we could rinse off the sand in a spacious shower area.

Parking is decent and safe. I highly recommend you to come early in the morning, like 7 am, to avoid crowds. Or even better reserve a hotel for one night and take a walk around 6 am to see the sun rise. It's worth it.

Quick Review! 👍 Nice spot to chillin and relaxin, especially at night. You can do picnic style or and wandering around the location that has few scenic points. There's also boat to rent for a quick sail and resto/cafe.

👎🏿 Sometimes the place can get so crowded. When it is, it's quite difficult to park our vehicle especially the 4 wheelers. And the water sometime smells bad, not sure why.

A beautiful place by the sea. I recommend going early to enjoy the park, as you need to pay for entry into the Ancol area. Otherwise, the place is stunning, and there are plenty of activities to do. We were able to try the outdoor egg activity and take a boat ride. For the boat, be careful to choose wisely to avoid being overcharged.
