Faunaland Ancol is inside the Ancol premises. Outside there is no any board with the direction to this place. So if you want to visit this place go to Bajaj Allianz Life insurance eco park and from there is the entrance towards the faunaland. This place is open space area, we can say that it's a mini zoo with some interesting animal and birds. The place is so beautiful, there are lots of things architecture very fantastic. The most worthy part of this place is the while lion. There are lots of lions there and also huge big lions and the best part you can see those lions from very close. The view point is just having a barrier of transparent glass that's the best to see lion as closely. Also some area are having only the cage too. They use to have animal show as well at that place. I would suggest to visit this place onces if you are in Ancol.
Please avoid to visit this place if that day is raining or had rain few hours earlier.
The lions are put inside the cage and you can't get the real feel of seeing lions more closely.
Overall the place is wonderful to see.
They have entry fees which is same for local as well as...

I was appalled by the condition of the animals during my recent visit to this zoo. The big cats, particularly the lions, looked unhealthy and overweight due to their tiny enclosures, lack of stimulation, and inadequate care. The heat was unbearable, and I suspect poor diet and living conditions are contributing to their poor health.
Many animals were confined to minuscule cages, unable to move or engage in natural behaviors. It was heartbreaking to see them looking so inactive and depressed. The absence of basic amenities like fans to provide relief from the heat is inexcusable.
It's clear that this zoo prioritizes profits over animal welfare.
I strongly advise against supporting this establishment. Instead, consider visiting the nearby Birdland, which provides a much better experience for both visitors and animals. This zoo needs to significantly improve its standards and treatment of animals before it deserves...
