The PIER By Kalaha — Restaurant in Jakarta

i love the decoration and the location is on the lake so at night its very beautiful view but just unfortunately I had bad experiment in this place. so that time when i went here there is also a birthday occasion of a group in the upstair. me and my husband order the food and then we need to wait so long for the food arrive like 30 minutes, and then my food arrived, but not my husband's. im waiting his of course as we wanted to eat together. but then after that I see they keep just serving the people from that group in upstairs, but not my husband's food. we wait until 30 minutes the food is still not coming, and my food obviously already become cold as the restaurant is outside and its night and windy. my husband complain to the manager and ask his food. they said sorry because they skipped him for serving those birthday group! and then we gave them 15 minutes more but still the food is not ready yet! so we angry and then leave (i didnt eat my food in the end because its already cold and i lost my appetite obviously, how come you coming 2 people but they just serve 1 food?? i mean if really need to wait then let us both wait together, not serve mine first but then not others, its not cool at all). and even after that they not apologise very well to us and still want us to pay the food! Its such a pity, because no matter how nice the restaurant and how good the food is, if the service is not cool then i will not coming back to...

December 4th came to The Pier for the first time with my friend. when we first arrived we were treated kindly, assisted with table setting as we were 8 people. The menu was given as usual, but after wanting to order the waiter took a long time to come and after the waiter came and our order was recorded, we waited about 30 minutes to wait for drinks. But after waiting 30 minutes the drinks still haven't come then we called the waiter again and the waiter took our order a second time because the first order was missing. We waited another 30 minutes a total of 1 hour waiting for drinks but still not arrived. We called the waiter for the third time but got no response, we finally got out of this place. After we complained to the manager, the manager also didn't apologize and didn't feel guilty. The manager said that the order recorded by the service did not go into the kitchen. How can the order not reach the kitchen even though it has been recorded? Very...

Visit here a lot in 2 years ago. The place it's good for relax.

But Yesterday - October 2018 we went there and very disappointed. We found all the sofa cushion looks dirty.. Lot of dirty spot in the white sofa. Even in the outdoor in the blue sofa.

We choose to sit inside because we think is still 2 pm and our decision was totally worst.

Indoor area is extremely hot. The airconditioned is on but we are sweating terribly.. - we tell the server and she can not do anything. We left very quick not interested to enjoy our menu. No guest when we left. 2 table before us also went very quick. How to enjoy this restaurant if you feel like in sauna room ?

When we go out even outside is better than inside.., we can still feel the wind.. Very upset and I think I will never come again to this...
