Allianz Eco Park — Attraction in Jakarta

Nice park, place to jog or walk around. Bicyle and buggies rental also available there (sorry for not putting the rental price here, dont have the info. Will check whenever i return to the park). There are deers and fishes, children and adults could feed them, animal feeds available (around Rp10k). There are also pellicans in a small island, peacocks and chickens and birds in cages. Used to have buffalos there, but today i did not see them anymore. Some jogging path are closed, and there are conatruction fences here and there, making it less "green/natural". I hope the park's management is doing some upgrade to make the park better and more greener and enjoyable for people to jog, walk, cycling. During weekends and public holidays, there are some food and drinks stalls in a dedicated area so people are able to find some food and dribks without leaving the park, instead enjoying the park while eating ans drinking. If you are looking for spacious green park in Jakarta, this is the right place for you. The place a bit similar with MacRitchie reservoir in Singapore. You can do exercise, from jogging, relax cycling and walking. Good for family and it's FREE. Bicycle, buggy car, electric motorcycle can be rented. During weekend, there are food stalls selling snacks and drinks with reasonable price. I think they open quite early, usually I come around 7am with my family. Faunaland is also located in Allianz ecopark but to enter you need to pay entrance fee IDR 80,000 for weekdays and IDR 90,000 for weekends and public holiday. You need to pay 25k to go inside ancol (i'm ok with that) but what disappointing is we are forced to follow an extra regulation (not mentioned on the web) wrote down in a banner that saying we have to pay more If we want to go to eco park by group (more than 11 people). We got stopped by 3 officers and they say we cannot enter unless we pay additional fees 25k per person plus a permission letter if you are a school group or institution (to go inside the eco park). and more extra charges inside the park if you want to enjoy the facilities.
