We had any difficulty in booking online, but could get along with 'Tour 8' & glad too, because it gave an extraordinary feeling to move through this amazing landscape on a small open boat. A treat to eyes ànd ears, as Dux is a true storyteller, with lots of humour & accompanying gestures - whilst steering the boat! One minor issue though was the pick-up at Kate Kearney's Cottage ... Stated on-line as 16h15, it was changed towards 15h30 on leaving the boat, with a 'goodwill' up to a 15min +. Read moreVery nice boat trip. Booked it to reach Lord Brandon's Cottage with a bike in order to cycle the Gap of Dunloe. Scenery on the way is fantastic, from open waters to calm river. The skipper/guide was supper funny and very knowledgeable, he was also fishing every now and then and even caught a trout! (sadly too small for us to share for lunch so it ended up back in the lake). Price with a bike was 25€, the trip took about an hour and a half (from the Reen Peer at Ross Castle to Lord Brandon's Cottage). There's a cafe with some food and drinks when you arrive (didn't try it, can't...
Read moreThis tour was amazing. They gave us a lot of explanation and history facts during the boat ride. In addition, our guide Dux was incredible spotting animals on the way and stopping for us to take pictures. We were able even to see the eagles. Everything was so smooth, after we finishes the 11 km hike, they picked us up in a van a drove us back to the car. We definitely recommend them, they are very friendly and knowledgeable. You will get a ride and good information, tip well deserved at the end. If you are a dog lover, you may be lucky and meet the Dux's dogs wich...
