We stopped into the cafe today. After a long drive and tiring day we opted to get ice creams for a few of us. A simple vanilla cone, my 13 year old daughter kindly ordered hers and was served quickly, she happened to have her back to the server and when ready she simply took the cone as she was distracted by her sister. The server and older gentleman loudly responded ‘‘you’re welcome!!!’ Made her feel embarrassed and of course she was grateful to be served her 2.50 small cone but completely unnecessary of demeaning her, fairly certain had that been my husband or another male he would not have been so rude. We are grateful people but certainly...

A return visit today. Coffees and scones were top notch as always. A few of us attended with children whom highlighted how good the cafe is at waste management. This was the first location they have ever noticed extra care being taken with product use and disposal . Which made us the adults take notice of all the effort being made. This makes the cafe extra special. We all learned something today. Well done on implementing and adhering to...

Have had two lovely trips to Ross Castle Garden Cafe over the Easter, and can’t wait for a summer full of great coffee and treats, all served with a smile.

Highly recommend if you’re out with buggies, kids and dogs. There is room to roam for smallies in the sit-down area, yet it’s contained enough that it’s safe. Dogs also welcome, and there’s a water bowl and all! All we need now is for the OPW to build a playground down...

Nice tiny cafe next to the castle. There is a number of picnic benches next to it and outdoor space for kids and dogs to move around. Seemed like a nice variety of coffee drinks and they even had soft serve 99 cone ice creams. The only issue is that it is a one man show, so if there is a queue, it’s going to move at whatever pace the one person can get through it. Either way, it was a good cup of coffee and a good cone!

Probably the best coffee we've had in Ireland so far. Surprising how many coffee shops produce the same coffee whatever you order. But here the Flat White was made like a proper Flat White. The coffee cake and scones were tasty too. There are benches to sit at and the castle toilets are very close by. Definitely worth a visit if here to see the castle.

Fabulous setting next to Ross Castle, Lough Leane & Killarney National Park. Customer seating in gardens (some covered seating too) with barista coffee & the best coffee cake I've ever had! YUM! It's also really lovely to walk/bike here from Killarney Town via the National Park (Knockreer/Killarney House route via Lakeshore Walk).
