Monte Colodri — Local services in Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro

Father and 10 year old son (with a worried mother back at the hotel) did the Via Ferrata on Monte Colodri. A fairly easy route with a nice view and some good photo opportunities. We started early and had the mountain to our selves, so we spend a lot of time enjoying the view and taking some good pictures. Ascend was 2:30 hours and in the usual italian style there was not a lot of directions down the backside of the mountain. We had to "wing" it a little but we were back at the starting point in 40 minutes. Good for families...

Il Monte Colodri sovrasta la città di Arco, meta gettonata data la sua facile salita. Sia che si decida per il sentiero che per la via Ferrata. Alta croce di vetta per un balcone panoramico verso la valle del Sarca fino a Riva del Garda. Nelle giornate terse il panorama è splendido. Langweiliger, seeeehr einfacher Klettersteig mit total abgeschmirgeltem Fels und übertriebenen Sicherungen, der total überlaufen ist und auf den sich Menschen in Form von Ameisenstraßen hinauf bewegen. Am Weg sind schlecht ausgerüstete Familien mit viel zu kleinen Kindern. Mir bleib nur den Kopf zu schütteln. Das Positive: Am Berg oben sieht man auf den Gardasee, man wird man von Ziegen erwartet, es gibt es ein Gipfelkreuz und der Weg zurück zum Parkplatz auf dem Kreuzweg ist mit wunderschönen Ausblicken auf die...
