Escape Room Ferrara - IN FUGA — Local services in Ferrara

After the experience of being "entertained" in an escape room in London, I was intrigued and pleasantly surprised in finding one in Ferrara (actually offering three different types of room). Ignoring again my gut reaction based on solid common sense (why should I pay to be handcuffed, blindfolded, and locked in a dark room from which I had to earn my escape ?), I let my daughters convince me to go at it once more, during their Xmas visit in Ferrara. Our host/jailer/attendant Sara was very nice in welcoming us, explaining to us the whole thing, and graciously following us in our endeavours, mercifully administering to us welcome hints as she saw us stuck at some points in our escape attempts. We actually found the various riddles quite challenging, as the room was quite well organised and structured around the various steps of the escape process. Esperienza molto divertente! Si può scegliere tra 3 stanze diverse, serial killer, soffitta e pirati. Noi abbiamo scelto "la soffitta" con una durata di un'ora, eravamo in 5 ed abbiamo speso 25€ a persona. Prima esperienza per un escape room e quindi siamo stati lenti nel risolvere gli enigmi ma durante l'esperienza arriva qualche consiglio dal ragazzo che monitora la situazione per accelerare i tempi e farvi avvicinare alla soluzione. Consiglio di rendere più ordinata la sequenza di indizi, in modo da permettere di terminare nei tempi previsti la fuga. Il climatizzatore della camera era rotto e si moriva di caldo, dato che per via del gioco le finestre e tapparelle sono chiuse, in più i servizi igienici erano davvero sporchi e scarsi e per il prezzo pagato mi sarei aspettato una...

Giulio and the escape room are crazy fun. Great experience, nice ambience, and fun puzzles.

Definitely math and logic oriented, not very action like, adult audience more than kids for our version.
