Erano delle spianate che correvano lungo le mura di cinta su cui venivano posizionati i cannoni a difesa della costa. Oggi sono degli splendidi terrazzi da cui è possibile ammirare l'incantevole paesaggio della Locride fino all’azzurro dello Ionio. Dalla vicina Porta del Sole o delle Bombarde (XII secolo) si raggiunge il centro storico del borgo
