Lidl — Local services in Lucca

The cashier was extremely rude to my Wife and our family. Our Italian isn't the best but my Wife was trying to communicate with her as we thought she said the cashier was closed but when we tried to clarify in both Italian and English, she ignored us. We put our items through and wouldn't even look at us again. She basically threw the receipt at me and said a very sarcastic "Gracie Mille".

She then proceeded to help the people in line after us so it's not like she closed the cashier line, as we thought she was telling us. I'm not sure why she was so rude as we are friendly and kind with everyone.

Sad to leave a bad review as I really like Lidl as a store and...

Coming from Germany, you can tell that the Lidl keeps standards between the countries very seriously.

The downside to this, however, is that many of the brands and products are the same as in Germany/Netherlands.

We were looking for Italian cheese, sliced for our sandwiches, and instead could only find Emmental and Gouda.

The workers were friendly when asked, but they also seemed disappointed by the strong influence of foreign product as opposed to local...

Avrei un domanda ...ma il personale nn e gestito da nessuno !?nn esiste un direttore ,niente di genere ?vorrei sapere come mai si permettono di parlare con i clienti i quella maniera li ?come dipendenti ...io nn mi sono mai permessa come proprietaria ...in particolare parlo di una ragazza riccia... Che per colpa sua non ci torno più ... Mi ha detto anche ,se non mi sta bene ad andare a Esselunga ...boh ... E ci vado ...e come ...Due giorni io con mio compagno abbiamo speso alla Lidl più di 200€ , in tutte e due giorni mi hanno sbagliato, il secondo giorno mi è passato un prodotto da €13 due volte ,invece di chiedere scusa ,era anche arrabbiata ...ero arrivata a casa con la spesa ,e c'era qualcosa che nn mi tornava ...guardo scontrino e vedo il sbaglio ...prendo la macchina torna ,i faccio vedere e inizia a arrabbiarsi che questa volta passa sopra, ma la prossima volta ,se non guardo il scontrino in negozio, non mi considera proprio...what!?uno va sulla fiducia ... Io rimango di stucco ...ma come!? mi sbagli tu ,mi prendi €13 in più( se non vedevo rimaneva così) e mi brontoli anche!? Ma dove c'è scritto che devo guardare lo scontrino dentro al negozio!? Io non ho visto nessun cartello... Non parliamo del tono E tutto quello che è successo...
