Overall summary: Overly priced entry but the facillities are there. However visiting daily isnt worth it, below is why.

Bagno Elena

💶Cost, (cash and card accepted) €16 euro per person and then €12 to have a parasole (you arent allowed to bring or use your own) is too much if you wanted to go daily.

🚮Cleanliness Its cleaner than the free access ones, even the toilets have actual janitorial care. Like any beach, locals and tourist ignorantly dump their waste but looks like its cleaned up (except for UNDER the pier)

🤝Security It is manned by staff and security, they dont let freeloaders in (so dont try sneak in haha). They seem helpful, though I only went once.

🚾Facillities Toilets, showers, resturant(s) and a bar with fair pricing and options- they use a cocktail maker so you know they arent skimming on spirits

🌅View/location Unless staying near Mergellina, its either a bus there or a good hour walk to the hotel/Airbnb hubs in the Plebistico area. Its nice in that it has a moderate size, provides beds and you can see Capri (I might be wrong on the...

Watch out!!! A very dubious place!

We reserved and paid for a sun lounger and a parasol in the private area for today on the website (50 euros in total; 2 x 20 euros entry with sun lounger; parasol 10 euros)

When we arrived at Bagno Elena, we had an unpleasant encounter with the lifeguard Fabio at the cash desk: we were initially sent to the beach with children (despite booking the private area, adults only). When we pointed out our booking, Fabio suddenly demanded an additional 50 euros for a parasol in the private area we had already paid for. This would have been 100 euros in total.

An absolute disgrace - as we had already explicitly paid for a sun lounger and an umbrella in the private area.

The height of disgrace was the arrogant and impertinent behavior of the lifeguard Fabio. He shouted at us threateningly and insulted us - when we didn't accept his corrupt methods.

We left the baths and demanded our money back, which was only given to us under protest.

Watch out!!! A very dubious place! Mr. Fabio should not be let loose on...

Do not listen to all the negative reviews. We were really hesitant to come but here now and it is absolutely lovely.

We booked our tickets last night for five sun beds and two umbrellas. When we arrived we showed them the QR code and was greeted with a tour of the facilities and shown to our loungers.

The water wasn’t great when we first swim at 10am but by lunchtime the staff had done their best to clean any rubbish and it was absolutely fine. Very calm waves which are great for swimming. Nothing on the bottom of the sea.

Beach bar has great food ordering service via touchscreens - prompt and tasty, not expensive. Showers and WC’s as you would expect from a beach.

Naples isn’t know for beaches so you have to lower expectations - this isn’t a typical Mediterranean beach but it is absolutely fine for a day of sunbathing and swimming. We are coming...
