I went to this particular hotel as my idol Maradona stayed here back in Italia 90. Also he won the league with Napoli!! The views, the food, the service and the atmosphere were beautiful. I stayed with my family for 5 nights and we were debating as to whether we should go eat outside the hotel but the food at the hotel was wonderful. An excellent location and our best meal in Naples. Food was pure quality, in a meal of excellents the crispy octopus and sea bass were particularly exceptional. Beyond technical excellence there was also creativity in the cooking and some very interesting flavours that make the price more than worth what you get.

La voglia di trascorrere una bella serata, mi ha spinto a cercare qualcosa di particolare, qualcosa fuori dall’ordinario. Devo dire che è stato un bellissima sorpresa. Non appena mi sono reso conto in cosa mi fossi imbattuto, ho capito che avevo trovato ciò che cercavo. Le aspettative sono state ampiamente confermate!!! Trattandosi del ristorante dell’albergo Paradiso, già è possibile farsi un’idea della posizione. È SUPER PANORAMICO!!!! Ha anche una bellissima terrazza , dove è possibile ammirare tutta la città. Ma andiamo per ordine. Entrando hai subito la percezione del livello del ristorante, tutto è curato nei minimi particolari. Non ci sono tanti tavoli, ma la cosa che lo rende unico, sono le vetrate enormi che è rendono tutto molto suggestivo. L’unica cosa che secondo me “stona” se così posso dire, è l’illuminazione della sala. Troppo forte e fredda, di sera il riverbero della luce sui vetri, smorza le luci della sera che il panorama offre. L’intero staff è molto gentile e disponibile, appena arrivati, ci hanno accolto e fatti accomodare al tavolo accompagnati da una “bollicina” come benvenuto. Il menu proposto non è ampissimo, ma comunque la scelta è buona. Non è stato possibile gustare la tagliata di tonno pinna gialla che arriva settimanalmente dalla Sicilia, in compenso , ci siamo consolati con una prelibata tartare di scampi, tonno e salmone ed un ottimo risotto alla pescatora. Inutile dire che il prezzo non è economico, ma tenuto conto della location e dell’alta qualità dei prodotti...
