We quite liked this place for a day at the beach. I wish they had beach drink service but it was a just a short walk to fetch something cold. The bed with gazebo we had was very comfortable. I wish the shade was a bit larger as it flaps around a bit on windy days like today. The food from the restaurant was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. Perhaps I wasn’t expecting much for a beach club, but the mixed fried seafood and mussels and clams were both delicious. We ended up...

You can discuss whether 40€ for a family (non weekend rate) is too expensive or not for a clean facility with nice water and beach....

... but bottom line for us for the low rating was:

As a non Italien / non Italian speaking you just never feel welcomed at this place... no smiles or so from the team ... some even seem to avoid you

Could well be it is because they are simply too shy to speak English... but still it doesn’t help that as a result the atmosphere is not relaxed...

Menù di mare 30€

L’antipasto arrivato dopo quasi un’ora dal nostro arrivo è formato da numero 4 fette di carpaccio di tonno neanche male peccato servite su un piatto di cartone, con sopra tre pomodorini in croce e della rucola tutto ovviamente non condito. Ah sulle tavolo non vi erano condimenti.

Il primo (ravioli di cernia) altrettanto arrivato in ritardo era pure freddo, sintomo dell’essere stato un prodotto congelato (ovviamente non detto in sede di richiesta informazioni). I ravioli erano 6 di numero.

Il secondo speravo fosse in ritardo perché fossero andati a pescarlo e invece altro prodotto congelato (presumo) e altra corsa. Il filetto sembrava stracotto o scongelato troppo velocemente, accompagnato da verdure di cui invece vorrei spezzare una lancia perché buone.

Col dolce si arriva all’apice. Il menù indicava crema chantilly ed invece ci è arrivato un bicchierino di yogurt acido con 3 pezzi di cioccolato dentro. Una volta fatto notare alla cameriera ha ripiegato portandoci dei tiramisù “per accontentarci”, come da sue parole.

Vino chiedete la carta che sono buoni, evitate quello incluso che oltre esser acido te lo portano in bottiglie già stappate, come se si potesse fare.

Il menù di terra preso da un amico accanto costa meno e le dosi più interessanti. Qualità però anche li da capir...
