I would give 0 stars if it was possible. The tour guide seemed very unorganized and was suddenly put in charge of two groups and she seemed lost about it. Then we got split up for the gondola ride and were not told where to meet after we got off our ride. All gondolas filled up so we had to wait for the next group of them, which caused us to be about 5 minutes behind everyone else. When we got off our guide was nowhere to be found. We looked for her in all previous places of the tour like the Piazza and between the two columns where the meeting place was but nobody was there. We tried reaching out to the Headout and The Tour Guy over the phone but when needing to be transferred to a representative they just hang up the phone. Really unreliable company and a waste of a day in Venice that could have been well spent. Each of us 3 paid 160$ that could have been used for something else. Absolutely would not recommend this tour company. Take your business elsewhere, you will...
Read moreWow, what an experience--it could not have been better! We highly recommend the Rome/Florence/Venice-In-A-Day tours, and Venice was our favorite! We spent the morning touring Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica and ended with a gondola ride which of course was our favorite--not to be missed! Our tour guide, previously a teacher, was excellent and very personable. Another guide led our afternoon boat tour of Murano and Burano. Both unique and special in their own rites, and the islands were so much more peaceful than the busyness of Venice. Our guide was informative and so friendly--she even went out of her way to help us search for an item we needed. When we couldn't find it on Burano, she even called some shops on Venice until she found it for us! What a sweet experience--The Tour Guy really knows how to pick their guides. All of the guides we had in Rome, Florence and Venice were excellent--you really can't go...
Read moreMy husband and I, together with our adult daughter, spend a day in Venice. We chose a half day tour, we arrived in Venice with plenty of time to take in the sights and then meeting up with our tour group. We had Grazia (not sure if I spelled her name correctly), but she was fantastic! She was thorough in her historical knowledge, she had a great sense of humor, and she kept us in line. I now have an understanding of how tough a tour guide’s job is, especially when herding people through an extremely busy and challenging place like Venice. She answered all our questions and her answers were clear and concise. I highly recommend Grazia when you want to navigate a mind-boggling place like Venice! Nick and Marina...
