Fujisawa Station Enoden

During our family’s first trip in Kanagawa Prefecture, we took a ride on the Enoshima DenTetsu (Enoden) Line, from Fujisawa station to Hase station, where we paid a visit to Hasedera Temple and the Great Buddha of Kamakura.

Fujisawa station on the Enoden Line was quite small, yet it was already perhaps the largest station on the Line. Other Enoden stations were small and sweet. Some stations even only had one platform that both eastbound and westbound trains shared.

The train that we took for our first experience comprised four cars, but it was apparent that the original design was a two-car walk-through arrangement. Perfectly fine little station. I highly recommend starting from this station when exploring the area. It is very easy to navigate, with visible ticket gates unlike the other stations down the line.
