Same airport different challenge every time…. Fukuoka International Terminal continues to be the cream of the crop for the most inefficient airport terminal in Japan. As a frequent flyer, I bristle at the prospect of having to fly through this gross nonsense. Today’s evolution starts with my 0815 flight for which I currently remain at the security checkpoint at 0645 - been here since I checked in at the counter at about 0550 - with zero personal/staff with the line growing moment by moment… 🙄
I don’t like to employ dramatic, subjective terms, but it is easy to apply “utter disdain” to my numerous experiences with FUK (a 100% applicable play on words)…

One of the reasons why this airport is great (for its users) is that it's located right in the downtown, with a subway line connecting both places. One even can walk from the shinkansen station to the international terminal in 30 minutes or slightly more if he/she is especially in a mood of a walk or a bit energetic.
