This is the second time me and my fiancé ski with Hakuba Ski Concierge!
We are so lucky to have Maki as our ski instructor this time. We can’t be more grateful of meeting this passionate, energetic and kind hearted lady with superb hospitality. Everything she taught just made us easily notice our weakness and instantly made improvement. And I can finally make a smooth turn on steep slope! We are so glad that with the experienced teaching and joyful atmosphere she brought us, we can really enjoy skiing with confidence and laughters this time!
Maki is also very thoughtful to suggest other ski resort which is less crowded and matches our level! We had so much fun learning and practicing there!
Also, we shared a lot about food, traditions and many more apart from skiing, it’s so nice to make friends with Maki!!! What’s more surprising, Maki is not only good at snow sports but also photography and videography, she is so generous to help us take pictures and films while we ski in which all of them look really good! She even made us a video clip as a gift, how heartwarming it was!
And on our last day of skiing, we even meet our instructor last time - Sean, just by coincidence. What a blast! Really thankful for the fundamentals he taught us so that we can pick up and further improve quickly this time!

Read moreWe had a great trip to Hakuba last week spending 5 days with Hakuba Ski Concierge despite the low snow conditions this year. Ben is a great instructor on the snow and a great host off the snow. He was a really great fit with my family and the girls enjoyed their time with him. My wife who is a trepid skier actually said it was the most stress free ski trip she has had in the last four. Hakuba has many valleys and they are not connected by runs - so its pretty important to be able to get around quickly and with someone like Ben who knows the right slopes for any given day. Its also a great bonus he also knows the best local spots for lunch ! Please extend our thanks to him and compliments to you for matching us with him. We look forward to doing the exact same thing with ski concierge again next January. Nadine the owner was also a breeze to deal with - thanks for everything !
The only negative of the experience was that we were not able to get onto Happo one with Ben. He did explain to us the unfortunate situation although it sounds ridiculous - the owners of Happo One have decided that only ONE ski school is allowed on their slopes. I do hope you and the owners of the slope can work things out as its quite a poor reflection on the management of the Happo One slope to be behaving in such an unfair and unfriendly manner to all visitors to Hakuba. Having said that, Iwatake, Goryu and Hakuba 47 are all great slopes too. If Happo one management want to be stubborn, its really their loss. No one ski school should have a monopoly...
Read more非常不滿意。這家服務中心就是他們的教練,所以要安排課程或有什麼任何問題要等他們下山下班才有回信。他們也沒有交往清楚價格跟規定。但是我們的教練是不錯。很有耐心的也有經驗。If only their management reflected the same courtesy and service as their instructors… we had a great instructor, but setting up the lessons was very stressful and unaccommodating. Very quick to get your money then they leave you stranded and not knowing where to meet instructors and at what time, and they are very willing to pick you up at your residence but count every second of that within your lesson time which is vaguely stated in their invoice. Example, I wanted to confirm start time and meet at the lift but didn’t get a reply from them until more than a half hour after the lesson was supposed to start.
And while it is quite interesting how quick the staff was to respond to this review it still doesn’t reflect the response time and delay we experienced before and during our stay.
Yes I received many email response to my questions, but I do not need to specify here how many days went by before getting said responses. And again, I only found out when I arrived and after the first day of lessons that the contact person I was using for our lessons was an instructor themselves and thus, did not get replies until the end of the day. If the company is short staffed then all emails should be forwarded to the person who CAN answer and that is IN the office and not teaching. The customers are not expected to know the work system that Hakuba Conceirge or any company they use is using...
