Station is not well equipped nor modern. But at the tourist information desk, you can get a city map written in English. Moreover, there are several rental bicycles. So useful to visit some spots on it. There is a service to deliver your luggage to your hotel before you arrive there, if you want to visit some places before you finally drop in your hotel. Read moreAlthough you have to be careful and not use your IC card here, the staff at Ibusuki Station (and everyone in Ibusuki honestly) are very kind and helpful. There are city maps in multiple languages, and the woman at the information desk was happy to help us with figuring out transportation.
If you don’t have a car, the best way to get around is by bus or taxi. I don’t think the busses show up on Google Maps, so be sure to check the schedules when here.
