外見といい、温泉自体といい、鄙び温泉最高峰じゃないでしょうか。 とは言え、この辺り素晴らしい温泉銭湯ばかりで優劣なんてとてもとても… 遥々遠くからやって来た甲斐があるってもんです。 しばらくお湯を楽しんで、水溜めから頭に水を何度もかけて身体を冷やし、減った分溜めねばとついつい水を出しっぱなしにして溢れさせてしまい、僕の後から入って来たお爺さんに「水入ったら温泉がダメになってしまう」と怒られてしまいました。 なんでもこちらの温泉には６０年！通われてるとかで、色々話を聞かせてもらいました。昔は外の駐車場スペースも全部洗い場で、けれども温泉は昔から２つきりで、今どきの流行りサウナじゃありませんが湯船はいつもいっぱいで「お前いつまで入ってんだ」と怒号飛び交うこともあったようです。 僕は有形文化財として後世に残していく価値すっごくあると思いましたが、温泉銭湯は対象にはならないのかなあ。

Maranoyu Hot Spring is a little wonder hiding in plain sight! Inside feels like a cozy time machine, with wooden walls and calm locals doing their relaxing routine like they’ve done it forever. The water is perfect, warm and gentle. The owner is super kind, even if he's half-hidden behind a forest of cameras 🫣 This place has been here for more than 100 years and it shows in the best way. Careful though, there’s a sneaky hot spring right next to it that looks similar but is way too hot and not as nice inside. I went there first and nearly roasted like...
