The weaving experience was very cool! I did the table centerpiece and chose from a number of colour options. It was really satisfying to complete. The staff spoke a little English but were very accomodating. You can either pick your finished piece up the next day or they can mail it to an address in Japan for you. You also get a small discount on the shop if you do the weaving experience! The shop is filled with gorgeous woven items like shirts, bags, and tapestries.

You can make small or large mats in a variety of colours and the friendly ladies teach you how to. Be aware that you can't take away and the final product is posted to you because it needs finishing off and sealing.

I had a really fun time on the minsah making experience. The lady who was teaching us didn’t really explain well at the beginning (a very rushed explanation!) but the team are available to help if you need it throughout the workshop. Coming here for a workshop without knowing any Japanese language might be a bit...
