Sakurai Shrine Futamigaura Torii — Local services in Itoshima

I am a photographer, so I will give some tips.

This is the most breathtaking beautiful sight in Fukuoma prefecture.

Transportation: it only takes one train and one bus from Hakata station.

On the way back, there is a deluxe tour bus that goes straight to Hakata station 🚉. The bus stop is right next to the gate.

Photographer tips:

You do not need a telephoto. 50mm or under is ideal. The rocks are much closer to the gate than you think, so you don’t need compression. Also, there will be a lot of other people lining up close to the gate, so you want to be able to take advantage of the distance of a telephoto. 50 is the upper limit, ideally, you’ll also pack a 24 and 35. I used a 50 1.2 and how to stop down to 2.8 - in hindsight, 3.5-4.0 would’ve been better. You do not need to bring your heavy GM glasses.

Bluetooth remotes are finicky, opt for a 2.4ghz wireless

The large torii gate in the sea is located on the coast of Futamigaura, Itoshima. There are many local and foreign tourists during holidays. A very large number of Chinese people came to Japan. As the tide receded, other people came to the big torii gate and took pictures of the torii gate and the couple's stone in various poses. I personally prayed on the sand in front of the shrine. There are several restaurants near where you can watch the sunset. All restaurants have outdoor dining areas. The sunset + beach + torii is really beautiful. However, transportation certification is a test. If you are not traveling by car, you can get there by bus, but it will take some time.
