I stayed in Itoshima for 3 days and tried 5 restaurants. This is the last I would recommend if you come only for food. But of you’re a big fan of social media / ins poster , the view is very worth to come. The seafood is not attractive without filter, not to mention it could be the one of the worst quality fish I tried in Fukuoka. ( Uni doesn’t look or smell fresh). I lived in Seven Seven which is within walking distance and the day before I saw lots of people queueing outside. I was thing it should be good. We skipped our breakfast and came here for brunch. We came almost like 5 minutes after opening. The seaside table is not full and with one unit empty. I asked to be seated at the window for 3 times, for some unknown reason the owner insisted we could not be seated there. I asked why there are 3 girls occupied the other unit but this unit can not hold 1 adult and 2 kids. The restaurant owner insisted we can only sit at the big one. After order, he came and offered us to be reseated at the window. Anyways, i don’t know what made him change his mind. Maybe we order expensive sets? Maybe other customers keep coming and he need the big table for other families ? Anyways,I had bad mood after this. The food came as I posted with no filter. I can only say it’s a view over food traveller spots. Our hotel offered much better quality food. And the cafe opposite, also for 8 mins bus you can find good Ramen and...
Read moreThe restaurant owner is very rude. We waited long time for the window seats, and the man offered us the seat with only partial window. We requested to wait for the next available full window seats. He becomes impatient. During the meal, we saw the owner being impolite to other customers as well. Very nice view but really bad dining experience. Never met any Japanese like this as a tourists who have been to Japan for many times. I would give negative stars for the service if I could. Once I finished my food, while my baby and my husband are still half way eating their meal, the owner asked me to leave the restaurant, so that he can give the seat to the next customer. I am shocked and I was being forced to order more food to stay at my seat with my husband and baby. Have a strong impression that the owner seems doesn’t welcome...
Read moreWas recommended by a Japanese friend to eat here. We had travelled all the way from Sydney aswel. The lady at the counter seemed like she was in a bad mood as I walked in I politely said Konnichawa before she cut me off and shook me off with a hand gesture to wait at the entrance so that she could serve the customers walking out. The restaurant was empty upstairs (not sure about the ground floor). So if she was that busy I'd be more understanding. We had arrived around 3.30-3.45pm so it wouldn't be related to closure time. No matter how good your food is, if your customer service is lacking I immediately walk away. Gives a bad name to the polite Japanese culture :-( We ended up boarding the bus...
