Yotsuba-Sou Bungalow Village(cottage&Lodge) — Local services in Katsuura

Affordable place to go with group of friends. You can buy all the necessary stuff for bbq like coal etc and they also give you tings and everything too for free to use. They have many small houses with futon, pillow and blanket. They do not have bed sheet or pillow case. They have a fridge and a TV. There aren’t many restaurant around and they stop selling at 15:00. It is 2 min walking distance to Ubara beach. They have clean shower room which is like an onsen concept with hot bath inside. However the toilet isn’t clean. There are no supermarkets so it is better to buy all the bbq food items from Katsura in Beisia Katsuura Branch which is a really big supermarket just one stop before Ubara if you are coming from Tokyo side. There are many bbq spots inside the property so you choose whichever you want. They have a lot of cats around the area too. There is an old woman who runs this place. Overall...

Beach: Nice sand beach, beautiful place. BBQ place: good, easy to use, you can buy charcoal, grill,etc. Bring your own food. Shower: there is a locker to put your things, a hot shower and a bath ( no privacy, women all together) Toilets: Japanese style. Bungalow: a simple bungalow with tatami mat. It has mattresses, blankets and pillows, but bring sheets and pillow covers, because they are not clean. or bring your own sleeping bag. IMPORTANT: If you’re allergic this place is not for you. ここはバンガローなので基本キャンプですからホテルやロッジの設備を求めたらいけません(^-^)部屋の中、天井にも都会では見かけない虫やでかい蟻はいますのでそういうのは苦手な人はダメかな。あと、昭和レトロなトイレか(｡-_-｡)笑。 最近の子供は和式がダメらしい。。

あと致命的な点がありまして、駐車場は40台程度あって係に1000円払って停めますが、ここまでくるアクセスが車には致命的です。駅の方から細道をカーブ一本入れながら600m位下ってきますが、3ナンバ車で幅ギリギリ💧すれ違いできないので対向車が来てしまうと、どちらかがバックで戻らなければなりません。 お盆や連休などは混んでますのでそういったことになり、かなりの距離をバックで戻っていたりする車を見たことがあります。 かなりデンジャラスです。

それから、買い出しに関して、付近にコンビニも含めて商店がありませんので駐車場に着いてから買い出しに行こうものなら先程の対向車地獄になります。

受付のおばちゃんも良い方で優しくしてくれますし、海あがりにすぐ入れるお風呂もあるし、私には古くとも最高です。 ただ、私は40代ですが中学生の時に初めて利用しましたが、その時から建物、設備はほとんど変わってませんので、そういうとこでは改善の余地はあるとは思います個人的に☆4という気分ですが贔屓しないと⭐︎3前後なのででしょうか。 私はとても気に入っていますよ(^_^) しかし最近は外人の方が日本人より...
