2nd Street Kyoto Shirakawa — Local services in Kyoto

Thrift store mainly for men and women clothes. There is a small section for kids clothes and another small section in the front for branded products. Visited this store a few times and bought a long skirt, cardigan, scarfs for myself and some t-shirts, short pants for kids. Each item only cost me less than 500 yen, even some items are only 150 yen. Apart from clothes, there are some shoes, hand bags, backpacks but for me the condition isn't worth to buy. Better stick to purchase...

Although the quality of the products is not as well maintained as in the average second street shops out there , I like to walk around the store and occasionally buy good value items. It's addicting when I get good condition items at low prices. This shop provides various kinds of used goods such as bags, shoes/sandals, clothes, trousers, wallets, etc. Starting from the choice of children to adults both men and women....

This store has decent quality clothing, but I was very disappointed as a seller. I took two full bags of name brand clothing in great condition and received only 300 yen. I understand it's the business of consignment shops to make a profit, but these guys are raking it in. Not worth the trip. I'll find a local shop to donate...
