Card Shop Hamaya Matsumoto — Local services in Matsumoto

I decided to visit the shop just before closing time, primarily in search of Pokémon cards. While the store offered a good selection, I found it a bit challenging to browse comfortably due to the narrow aisles. As someone above average height, reaching cards at the bottom was particularly difficult. However, this may not be an issue for everyone.

The service was on par with other card shops I’ve visited in Japan. The staff was attentive and provided assistance when needed. Even though I don’t speak Japanese, I had no trouble communicating through simple gestures and pointing, making the shopping experience smooth and hassle-free.

There was some background noise from family conversations in the back of the store. While this didn't affect my experience, it might be distracting for those who prefer a quieter shopping environment.

数年前から計4回ほど利用しました。 長野県内のカードショップをすべて把握しているわけではありませんが、比較的品揃えは豊富な印象です。特にMTG（マジック：ザ・ギャザリング）の在庫は、専門店でないにもかかわらず充実しています。

一方で、以下の点が気になりました。 1.店内の清掃状態 非常に埃っぽく、長時間の滞在が前提となるカードショップとしては、清掃が行き届いていない印象です。清潔感のある空間であれば、より気持ちよく過ごせると思います。

2.商品陳列のわかりづらさ MTGの商品が「シングルカード」「構築済みデッキ」「ショーケース内」など複数箇所に分かれており、探すのに手間がかかりました。ある程度整理し、見やすく配置されていると助かります。

3.接客と店内の雰囲気 接客自体は特に悪い印象はありませんが、口コミでは常連客との距離感や対応に疑問を感じる声もあり、地方のカードショップによくある「内輪感」が出てしまっているのではないかと感じました。お店として一定の配慮や対応が必要だと思います。

MTGに関しては取り扱いが多く、内容も良いだけに、それ以外の部分が惜しまれます。接客や品揃えに直接不満があるわけではありませんが、店舗の清掃や整理状況から「全体的な意識の低さ」が伝わってしまうのは非常にもったいないです。
