If you are in Naoshima, you MUST make a beeline to this stunning stunning enormous converted warehouse with A frame exposed beams, beautiful woodwork, where you smell the sweet scent of wood when you walk in.

They make their own chocolate - it is the kind that you take a bite and think you've gone to heaven! I had a hard time restraining a whoop with each swallow.

And OMG, the chocolate gin was just the devine match made in heaven to the chocolate goddess. I just wish I wasn't so tired with a very early morning start the next day or I would have stayed and drank until they kicked me out!

We found this chocolate factory by chance as we had a stroll near by. The place is a refurbished sea weed factory with nice wood work and a hip interior. They offer a fine selection of drinks paired with excellent music. The owner and team was super friendly and welcoming. The hot chocolate was probably the best we ever had. The wine paring was excellent with their chocolate cake. We went for their white chocolate with soy sauce - a really rare and excellent combination. We absolutely loved it. What a cosy and beautifully converted seaweed warehouse. This chocolate shop/ bar is Naoshima’s newest gem, having just opened in March 2024. It’s a must visit place for a sweet treat. It’s a perfect place to wind down after a full day of gallery visits.
