Classic izakaya. We came without a reservation but maybe next time would get one because from 19:00~ it can get quite crowded on a weekend.
There are three tables that seat four people, two tables for two people, a large round table for 6 people, and bar seating.
It is tatami/floor seating so if you have difficulty sitting on tatami for long periods of time due to knee or leg pain, perhaps the bar is better.
The prices are really reasonable and the service was friendly and can speak English. There was a young, hardworking girl working server who made sure all the guests were taken care of. At some point, the kitchen was backed up which while frustrating, was understandable due to it being just the young server and chef.
The potato salad was very good (none of the usual ham, which for us vegetarians made us very happy). The tamagoyaki was very good as well. The karaage came with a sauce and our meat eating member of the table said it was good. We did not eat any fish items on the menu but we were satisfied with...

We got a table at 20:00 for two on the shared table. The establishment opened at 18:30. Upon arriving we ordered food and drinks directly. Out of 6 dishes we ordered they where already soldout on half of our order. Potatosalad, who is out on potato? I get it if your out on fresh raw products like meat or fish but potato? One and a half hours upon opening? We ordered fired chicken and their “reccomended” pork dish aswell which the waiter returned 2 minutes later upon ordering to inform us that they where out of that aswell. We settled for some yellowtail and edemame with beer. For a second round of draft beer at around 9pm they where out of draftbeer aswell.
How can you run a place like that? Almost half of the dishes and the simplest draft beer is out 2 hours into opening up for your only service hours that is dinner?
Wouldn’t recommend to go here. Go somewhere else. It’s...
Read moreWe had an amazing time dinning here! The owner was super friendly, made us laugh a couple times and gave us some tips about what to order. The spinach was amazing, she told us it was her favorite, and the yellow tail sushi was delicious. They have a nice selection of sake and beer, mostly brewers from the region. I had the gaijin sake and enjoyed very much. They owe a burger joint next door that is only open during lunch time and their yellow tail Burger is the best I ever had, very delicious but very light at the same time. We ordered 2 different sakes and 7 different dishes and we paid 6.000 total, I think it was cheap for the kind of food we had. My only regret is that I didn’t ask to take a...
