近鉄大和西大寺駅前にある商業施設です。もう少し歩くと近鉄百貨店とイオンが合体してできたならファミリーがあって、この近辺で買い物に行くとなればならファミリーなのですが、たとえばちょっとした薬とか、休憩・待ち合わせなどだとこちらが使えます。スターバックスなども入っています。レストランも入っていて、とても便利です。奈良市民にとって、あるいは市外から来た人にとって、西大寺、秋篠寺、平城宮跡、神功皇后陵などを徒歩でめぐる際、ここはうってつけの出発拠点になるかと思います。 というような場所で有り続けてきたのですが。2022年7月8日にこの眼の前で大事件が起こってしまいました。時計の針を戻すこともできず、この地はニューヨークのグラウンドゼロのような場所にならざるを得ないのかと思います。いずれ、石碑やブロンズ像などが建てられ、事件の風化を防ぐことと思います。それまでは、このサンワシティ様に、しばらくは事件の証人となっていただく必要があります。

Not a lot in this building, but has air con and some free places to sit down. The lower floor has a few restaurants and are pretty good. The second floor has a ¥100 shop, it pretty big so can find a lot in there. A few cafes on the first floor. Starbucks is probably the biggest draw card for this place. Toilets are well maintained and there’s a smoking spot out back if...
