HMV AEON MALL Narita（HMV trading card shop AEON MALL Narita） — Local services in Narita

I visited there on August 10 during a layover to Tokyo. The first worker couldn’t speak English, which was highly understandable so talking even in easy basic English about a CD still wouldn’t work. Considering AEON mall is near Narita Airport, it’s a little disappointing that they still couldn’t understand or speak it. As soon as I went to the cashier, I attempted to speak to her in the slightest bit of basic Japanese about if they had the official album of Fujii Kaze’s “Love All Serve All”. She instantly understood me and went to the storage room to get it for me. It felt such a relief knowing she could understand me even in my broken Japanese. A little Japanese goes a long way when you go visit Japan and they definitely would appreciate it. So I highly recommend you to learn some of their language before visiting the country.

After coming back from the storage room, she gave me only the limited edition version of the album so I assumed that was the only one in stock. Although I wished I had checked the availability of the regular version online since I didn’t know it was available until later on. It would have been helpful if they had restocked everything on the shelf sooner for easier customer accessibility, however.

That’s why the only thing I was disappointed about was after going back home, I checked online and discovered that they did have a regular version of the album in stock at their store for a while, which was in their storage room too. The cashier probably took advantage of the fact that I was a foreigner and gave me only the limited version (more expensive) without providing me options with the regular version as well. I assumed that the one that was given to me was the only one in stock. At least now I know what to do next time. So I recommend to foreigners out there to check for your product’s availability online and show it...
