100m elevator down to the observation deck (cold tunnel to get there and misty once on the deck FYI), with a little gift shop and photo opportunity on the deck. The waterfall drop is 97meters, so it's a pretty spectacular view. There's also another observation deck from the ground floor where the parking lot is (no elevator necessary) with a great view as well.
It was 320¥ to park and they have souvenir & snack shops next to the parking lot. They serve a local specialty veggie and dumpling soup that says it's bonito flavored broth (which I'm typically not a fan of), and it was good, not too fishy tasting. The ice cream was good too.

When we visited it was snowing which made the atmosphere all the more magical. There are viewpoints a short walk from the carpark that are free to access, but for the best views you can’t beat paying the small fee (¥600 per adult IIRC) to go down the mountain elevator to see the falls from the valley itself. There is also a coin-operated machine to the side of the elevator viewpoint deck where you can get a gold medallion stamped with your name and the date of your visit which makes a great personal keepsake.
