レストラン並木 — Restaurant in Nikko

Located across the parking area of Kegon Falls, this unasssuming restaurant also doubles as a souvenir store.

We went here as the restaurants near the parking area were mostly full. We tried the Yuba noodle (as it is one of the area's specialty food), omurice and curry rice. All taste solid, as expected of Japan. We've yet to find bad tasting food here.

During our visit (early April 2025), it was snowing. The store only had one person managing and cooking.

They have an old style heater and quaint retro atmosphere. I don't think the toilet here works, though. Better use the one at the parking area, if...

オフシーズンに行ったのも悪いんですが、 周りのお店はどこも開いてない。。。 少し遅い時間到着で、お腹がすいていて、 すぐに料理出来ますよと、 店先でおばあさんに呼び込まれて5名で入店。 注文後待てど暮せど。。。 やっと料理を持って来たんですが、一品のみ。 あれ？と思っていると 「一人で調理してるから時間がかかります」と。 はぁ？言うてる事違うやん。 悪質な居酒屋の呼び込みかよ。
