After dropping off our luggage after an overnight flight, we were hungry and by chance we came across this simple and great seafood restaurant at 北小松駅站, it's just right across...Hirose-Sushimasa.. do check it out ...cheap and good

Ogoto Onsen is a little bit far away from the station and there is no bus going there. There is a flip phone (all nostalgic but has the job done!) provided just at the exit for you to call them for pick up. Very convenient for foreign travllers. A very sweet gesture.

☆良い点 ・ホームから出るとすぐ隣にトイレがある。 ・ホーム近くにセブンイレブンがあり、ご飯や水分を買い補給することができる。 ・階段を1度降りたところに自販機があり、飲み物を買う事が出来る。 ・駅を出たらバスやタクシーがあり、駅外に用事がある方は利用することができる。 ・駅を出て近くに確かLAWSONがあり、そこでも買い物が出来る。 ・駅から出ると晴れてる時は凄く景色が良く、近くに足湯もあった。 ★悪い点 ・トイレはあるが多目的トイレがない為、車椅子を利用されてる方は少し難しいかもしれない。 ・ホームの降りる階段が多くて電車で疲れた人にはしんどい。(エスカレーターは無いがエレベーターは有るのでそちらをご利用ください。) ・私は成安造形大学に行くまでにバスを利用したはいいのですが、午後3時頃には表示されてる時間帯にバスが来ず、駅まで歩いて帰る羽目になったので普通にタクシー使った方が良いです。(私がバスに慣れてないのもありますけども…笑)

Understaffed - when we arrived around 5 pm on a Friday, there was only one person and he was serving another rider facing away from the gates. As a result, we had to wait 10 minutes just to flash our JR Passes. There's also infrequent service to Kyoto Station, so make sure...
