典型的な通勤の駅 Typical commuter railway station Located near the entrance to Gokuni Shrine. For railway buffs' Yunoki Station was established as Magarikane Station (曲金駅 Magarikane-eki) on December 9, 1908. It was renamed to Gokoku Jinjamae Station (護国神社前駅 Gokoku Jinjamae-eki) in 1942, due to its proximity to the Shizuoka Prefectural Gokoku Jinja, a Shinto shrine to the war dead, and branch of Yasukuni Shrine. 静岡鉄道の比較的大きめな駅です。国道に面しています。上下線がほぼ同時に来てしまうと、駅内に入れなくなってしまうので、電車を見送ることになります。 新静岡セノバ方面に行くには、一旦階段を降りて地下道（線路の下）を通り、階段を登ってホームに行かなくてはならないため、車椅子やベビーカーなどを利用している人は、駅員に申し出てホームの隅からのスロープを通ることができます。 ただ、駅員が外にいるわけでも、ホームにいるわけでもないため、一旦線路を渡り知らせに行く必要があります。 夜間帯は対応が難しかもしれません。 ……という特性を理解した上で、利用したほうがいい駅かもしれません。
