I'll never go back to a udon restaurant. Different people may have different personalities, but I don't know if it's discrimination or just that. When I walked in, there were many seats left for one person, but I was in front of the eaves of the photo, and for reference, in front of the bathroom. I was told to sit in the front seat, so I sat down, and the Japanese who followed me sat down. I was so offended. As soon as my order menu came out, the kitchen in front of me turned on the blender. The noise and vibration are annoying, and the back of the seat in front of the bathroom is small, but I was annoyed by people walking by, so I asked for takeout, but I couldn't
I don't want to sit there, so I eat in the space next to the water purifier, but I can't do that either. They told me to wait, but I left it for more than 5 minutes. I was standing, but I left it alone. I never told them to sit down.
Rather, a family of four who used a six-person table told them to sit next to them.
Other customers know what's going on, but Shin Fei U-dong employees don't even respond to humans
I was standing up and waiting
I was waiting in an empty seat at the end because a customer was missing at the table of six next to me, and a Westerner appeared, whether it was the owner or the chef.
He asked me why I was sitting in English They say I'm trying to clean up the table. Is it a cultural difference? It's a high-pressure atmosphere, but when I calm down, I slow down my speech a little
He asked me what I was doing, and I changed my seat
For your information, I didn't have a tissue, so I brought several wet tissues and put them in the seat, but Westerners said it off-puttingly while taking them. Read moreVery nice place. There was no English menu, but a quick overview was provided by one staff member (or manager? Not sure). I had curry udon with cheese, chicken tempura and onsen tamago.
Udon was great, can't fault it at all, but I think I prefer more regular udon. I'm glad I got to try curry version though. Chicken tempura was amazing, the best I had in Japan, juicy and crispy, not overcooked.
The atmosphere was nice, with customers chatting with staff, I was alone so I dislike very silent restaurants. I would come here again but I made a vow to try different place each time and I'm only staying two nights in...
Read moreTotally delicious and super friendly staff in the kitchen. Menu is Japanese only so make sure you’re comfortable ordering in Japanese or randomly pointing at things (there are no pictures). Note that for me, Google maps shows it in a slightly wrong location; it’s a few houses further north, just above the side street, not after it. It’s the only proper udon place in the area that is also open in...
