I saw a temporary exhibition about Finnish design. It was brilliant! Great value for money, very interesting and lots of cool stuff. Exit through the gift shop, of course. All the staff I spoke with were very kind and helpful. There are free umbrella lockers and 100 yen coin lockers. There's an underground bicyle storage. There's a restaurant but I didn't eat there. There's a huge craft and art room for children with lots of supplies, it was popular with families. I loved this place! Thank you.

There will be two areas in the museum, first is general exhibition (常設展), admission is 200 yen. The other one is special exhibition (特展), admission is 800 yen. If you want to go to the special exhibition, go straight to the second floor, and the ticket booth will be there. you can't buy it at first floor. If you buy the special exhibition ticket, you can use this ticket to see the general exhibition. Staffs are friendly, however, they don't speak English.

Takamatsu Art Museum is a nice art museum in the center of the city. There were 3 exhibits on during my visit. All were interesting in their own way without be especially deep or extensive. The museum building is quite large and impressive but the actual gallery areas are a little small. Even though I only paid ¥200 I was surprised that I seen everything in about 30 minutes.
