コミック館や文房具、クラフトグッズなど幅広く網羅している本屋さん。たまに漫画講座とかもやってらっしゃいます。

近くの『おもちゃのバンビ』ではカードゲーム大会なども頻繁に行われているため（※2025年現時点）、こちら本郷の文苑堂周辺は、富山県呉東のちょっとしたオタク文化スポットとなっています。

色々なイベントや物販の告知は、店頭やＸなどでひっそりサラ〜ッと行われるので、自発的にチェックしないと見逃しやすい。

お電話で購入したい本を頼んだ際の密接関係が、結果一方的でした。最後の殺し文句で、「さようなら」と言われて依頼本当にこの書店は信用できるか？とゆう信憑性を感じただけです。

レジの場所も以前は手前の方に位置づいてましたが、最近は入口付近にありました。←これは万引きするお客様を警戒しているだけだと思います。
