Souk Al-Watiya — Local services in Qibla

This place is a joint and hub for the expat community majorly Asians and much less or say point percentage for the locals...yet I have seen them window shopping or maybe that glittering gold fascinates. You never know...you may get the best for a tags...well if one is a lover of the shining metal (you got it- Gold) of Asian designs then one cannot miss visiting this Souq. The name rightly states the significance of the place.. Hypermarkets, mediocre yet tasty Asian Restaurants, Gold Market, Apparels & gift items, Mobiles & IT stuff, varied showrooms and small all-round item Shops, a lone Cafeteria Station - a bliss for tea/coffee lovers which has been there for a very long time and thriving to date successfully, and lots more.... It gives the demographs from low income based like domestic employees, taxi fellows, unskilled ones etc to the highest affluent to visit there. Mainly for the former,a chance to meet up there because its in the City and has places of worship around it. God Bless Kuwait abundantly. It makes those people and others too to leave out smiling and sometimes with goodies too even at a times like this post pandemic. It is one of the places in the city that u will love to visit. You will find alot of India, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Paki crowd. Other than this u get alot of things here like Gold jewelry which is my personal favourite, mobile phone, watches , perfume , clothes , footwear and many more. This place is very crowded specially in the evenings. Grand hyper and metro hyper these two hypermarkets are here. As well as some Indian and Philippines restaurants are here few cosmetic, gifts and mobile shops.. On first floor

On ground floor half of the area is covered by gold shops and half with watch garments and watch shops. Money exchanges are here... I didn't find washroom here.. This place comes with big paid parking area even you can park free of charge in the ground...
