What we had today was decent, albeit not extraordinary. The clear soup, while exceptionally clear, might appeal to those who prefer a lighter broth. However, the texture of the fish was somewhat unusual, not necessarily indicating spoilage but possibly due to being farm-raised. The thick, transparent mihun lacked robust rice flavor, although it provided an acceptable texture. The same type of mihun was used in their fried Singapore noodles, which ruined the taste profile. Fortunately, the their fish made ingredients were of decent quality and their signature hainan coffee is worth a try.

While the prices were slightly higher than average, the generous portion sizes compensated for this, though the overall quality didn't quite align with the...

Watan hor was fried beautifully with delicious fresh prawns but too bad fish slices was very rubbery. Kon lau mee portion was very good & definitely will fill u up but fish mix tomato soup very salty for our liking. The taste & freshness is there, just cut back on the sodium& it will definitely be a tasty meal. The hot drinks (kopi & kopi cham)here are heavenly done. Very kaw kaw one. Love it. This is my 2nd time here (1st time was whwn it just opened)..so far not much changes, so hopefully 3rd time round will be improved & better if we do...

Had Lala mihun sup with the Hainanese kopi ping this morning. The Lala (clams) were fresh and the soup was rich, flavorful, perfectly authentic fish broth. The mihun was cooked just right, with the ideal softness that soaked up the soup perfectly.

And the Hainanese Kopi Ping is a MUST-ORDER!The coffee aroma was strong and kaw with just the right sweetness. It’s one of the best I’ve had in KK! Many come for their fresh fish noodles and not forgetting...

Came to try after reading good review on food chat. Not disappointed. The layout is pleasantly spacious and clean. Visible kitchen in glass partition shows owner is confident in his food preparation. We had Tom Yum which was very good, tangy and not oily. Kon lau mee in Tomato soup was very good too. Love the hot drinks served with ‘tarik’ effect in big glass. Value for money and kaw too. Will definitely come again.
