Tian Yuan 田源 — Restaurant in Borneo

This place has different atmosphere to compare to most fish noodles soup restaurant, it feels rich to be here, maybe because it is placed around the Taman Khidmat neighborhood, quite historical place w the Chinese community whom settled here for more than 20 years.

Anyway, this place is famous for their White Tom Yum soup with strong aroma from lemongrass, that also giving spiciness to their soup.

Different than others, the place does not serve sides dishes like fried fish cake, etc but of course it has it's own class of cooking style compare to the rest.

Food starts to run out at 11am everyday and even deadly/ crucial during the weekend, as church goers or joggers are among the regular here so be sure...

Love the freshness and thickness of the fish served here. Price increased from rm 18 to rm 22 since I was here few months ago but that is normal in these times.

I always order the fresh fish with sayur pahit. Flavourful and light tasting broth. Just my kind of soup and fresh fish.

Food is served fast and environment is quite airy since they placed some plants blocking the road now.

Definitely recommend this place for another place you can try to have your craving for...

Excellent fish noodles soup. Have several choices of soup - tomyam, white tomyam, tomato, clear

Different parts of the fish can be chosen or options with mixed toppings too.

The salted egg yolk fried bitter gourd is yummy. The mixed fried fish parts was also quite tasty.

I had some Grouper belly in clear soup with kway teow. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Staff are patient, helpful and friendly. The location is just a neighbourhood...
