Tampoi Radish Kueh = RM6.00 2 Crispy Popiahs = RM5.00 Nasi Lemak = RM2.50 Cheong Fun (2 Rolls) = RM2.60 Yam Puff = RM1.50 Kopi-O = RM1.80
Pasar Pagi means "Morning Market" and this is exactly what it is. This is an Open-Air Morning Market in Bukit Indah that I randomly found in Google Maps.
Protip: If you want to take Grab to this place, take note that it is not searchable on Grab. You need to select either "AF Scooter Shop" or "Wen Kee Seafood" and it will be a very short walk to the Actual Market.
It is really quite refreshing and interesting to be able to visit such an Open-Air Market as these are practically extinct in Singapore. You will be able to find all sorts of Vegetables, Meats, Clothings, Kitchen Accessories and of course various Foodstuffs.
Tampoi Radish Kueh = RM6.00 This has a very Nice Savoury Taste. The Kicap Manis Sweetness is very Prominent but not Overpowering. Chilli Spiciness is Mild but you will still be able to feel some Heat. Kuey itself is soft and easy to swallow. Really love the Subtle and Not too Sweet Taste of it.
2 Crispy Popiahs = RM5.00 The Popiahs are Pre-Fried and cut up into Bite-Sized, drizzled with plenty of Sweet Sauce and Peanuts and alot of Fresh Cucumber Slices. The Skin is Nice and Crispy. Mang Guang within was Soft and Sweetish and the Generous Amount of Rojak Sauce and Peanut Sprinkled all over made it very enjoyable to eat as a Finger Food.
Nasi Lemak = RM2.50 Packaged in a Small Little Bundle, this is the type of S$1.00 Nasi Lemak that is quite popular in many Group Buys we have in Singapore. Only consists of Rice, Half an Egg and Sambal. The Rice has a very nice and Rich 马来风味 taste and the Sambal is just the Nice Salty with a Slight Sweetness that is also Bitingly Spicy. Pretty Tasty Nasi Lemak tbh.
Cheong Fun (2 Rolls) = RM2.60 This was Smooth and Soft and easy to swallow. The Sweet Sauce is quite Sweet. Chilli is not Spicy but very Garlicky. Overall is not bad although abit wasted because it was a Tad Cold when I ate it.
Yam Puff = RM1.50 Never eaten a Curry Puff with Yam Filling tbh. As a Bakery Pastry yes, but never as a Curry Puff. The Puff Dough is Flaky and Yam Meat is Soft and Sweet but not too Sweet and reminds me of Orh Nee. I consider this as a "Palette Cleanser". This is nice to eat after trying all the 重口味 dishes.
One thing you need to know, because this is a Open-Air Market, there are no proper place for you to dine there. And on that note, luckily the Radish Kuey one provided a Plastic Spoon, otherwise there are no Disposable Utensils provided.
Protip: I went to the nearby "Restoran Wen Kee" Kopitiam and nicely requested if the Owner would allow me to sit there and eat if I bought a Cup of Kopi-O from him. The Owner was very Friendly and allowed me to eat in the Kopitiam. Luckily he was nice, otherwise I might have to eat the items I bought by the Roadside!
This Bukit Indah Pasar Pagi is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 10am. You need to be a very specific type of person who is willing to wake up Super Early to visit this.
Also, i'm not sure if the Food Stalls I bought from are Permanent Tenants. This Market is really very Makeshift, so if you do come here, you might see Different Sellers or even Different Foodstuffs compared to what I've purchased.
Overall, it was a very Enjoyable and certainly a More Unconventional Dining Option. If you are ok with waking up early for this, I can Highly Recommended this!

Going to morning markets in Malaysia is always recommended, not just to pick up your daily grocery needs but to also get all bits and pieces required at home.
This visit has been a long time coming, as our 2nd residence is truly just about 12 minutes away, but only opens Fridays to Sundays from 7 to 10am
Due to the recent downpours we didn’t expect too much, but surprisingly it was still quite well appointed!
As we didn’t get there too early, around 8ish, we where surprised how busy it already was, as a matter of fact some stalls almost sold out by the time we left around 9ish
If you are so inclined, I could definitely recommend a visit, not the biggest market we have been but very convenient if you happen to live in and/or around the Bukit Indah district!
Food stalls not many, but the Nasi Lemak, truly Lemak, yet the Carrot Cake Stall definitely a winner! Great breakfast right there!
Plenty of Fruit & Vegetable choices, fresh Poultry, Seafood etc etc
As always on Malaysian Markets, clothing a plenty as well as kitchen ware!
Simply fun for an early morning out! Totally worth it in my opinion
Enjoy

Read moreIf you’re in Bukit Indah, the Pasar Pagi (Morning Market) is a must-visit! It’s lively, colorful, and packed with a huge variety of fresh produce, local delicacies, clothes, and daily essentials. The food stalls are a real highlight — from traditional kueh to freshly cooked breakfast dishes, everything is authentic and affordable.
The vendors are friendly and the atmosphere feels very community-driven. It’s best to come early to enjoy the freshest options and to avoid the midday crowd. Parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours, but it’s all part of the lively experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience a true local...
