A non air conditioned kopi tiam styled tze char stall near bukit indah. Wanted to try out a new place and used google map and discovered this stall.
Parking ample outside the restaurant. Free to sit on any tables and orders were placed promptly with the friendly auntie. She told us that we might need to wait and we accepted that. Not really full house then and I was thinking there might be take away orders. Anyway, it was quite a long wait. I thought we waited around an hour for our first dish to be served. As I started to recce around, I realised that the kitchen was small and there was only one person tending it. He did the preparation and cooking all by himself. This explained why the wait.
We ordered the fried fish in soy sauce, sweet and sour pork, Nai bai in garlic, sambal sotong and a lala with spring onions. All the dishes were good and I especially liked the fish. It was well fried without being too oily and the sauce was awesome. The sotong was cooked to perfection as well without it being too rubbery.
