First time dining here and would definitely return to try other dishes!
Love the Lala vermicelli (cooked in a very rich flavourful broth), salted egg bittergourd, Hokkien noodles (one of the nicest I've eaten in JB; comes with huge prawns!), salt baked kampung chicken (better than the one I had in Ipoh IMO), Yong Tau Foo (the addictive sauce goes really well with rice) and Bee Tai Bak soup (very comforting on a rainy, gloomy day!) Will certainly return and order the Lala vermicelli, Bee Tai Bak, and salt baked chicken! Prices of both food and drinks are reasonable too.
This outlet seems very popular with locals and can get quite packed and busy during lunch and dinner hours like after 6.30pm. You will need to wait even if you are dining alone. It's a fuss-free, no-frills dining environment (right beside a car workshop) that's typical of a neighborly Tze Char/Zhu Chao eatery but it's very well-maintained, bright, airy and clean! There's no air-conditioning but plenty of large fans to keep customers cool.
Staff are very friendly and service is fast. Plenty of parking lots in front and around the shophouses. Seems to be pet-friendly too as I saw several diners with their pet poodle and Maltese - makes me wish I can bring my dog too!
Apparently they have several other outlets in...

The runny yolk, marinated minced pork along with crispy pork lard and scallion all added to the aroma of the whole dish. I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it!
Of course, it was the Hokkien Mee that first caught our attention. It's chewy texture was most satisfying and it got more and more so with every spoonful.
Perhaps, the least impressive of the dishes we ordered was the fermented red bean curd crispy pork, which was flavourful but each individual piece was a little on the thin side.
Overall, it was a good experience and we'll surely be back to try the other...
