I have been 5 times to Golf Montchoisy since 2019. Today (August 16th 2022) it was the first time since December 2019 due to covid. It was the worst experience in Golf I have ever had: I buy a green fee for 9, a glove and 3 srixon balls. The Marshall told me that if I need assistance for additional balls, I just need to send a message through the screen of the golf cart. I have sent 10 messages waiting and waiting. 3 assistant golf cart came not for me but for other purpose (and I asked them for support). I never got Marshall assistance at ALL! Beautiful golf course in a great location. However the green fees are way too expensive (Rs 8700 or R3500) per person. There is absolutely no way playing a round here is worth that amount of money. These type of green fees are acceptable at courses like Pebble Beach, Augusta National or Shinnecock Hills, not at an unknown layout like this one. Course in perfect condition. Tee boxes brilliant. Fairways stunning. Greens tricky but a little slow. Enjoyed our round but did not like the pressure of people running like mad to say you are slow. We completed our round in 4hours 10 min including break and let a 4 ball through and still told by your Marshall that we need to hurry up.
